The 9th University of Nairobi Open day was held on Thursday January 17, 2019. During this time the Parents and students finds it easy and convenient to interact with professors and current students about the requirements of preferred courses. It is an eye-opener and gives some insights on the relevant courses and options in preferred courses.
Before the inroduction of this event it was difficult for the parents and students to make the right choice of the courses that they would like to pursue at the University level. parents were forcing their children to pursue courses that were deemed to be marketable without considering the capability of the student.
The participants in the 9th open day included the Higher Education Loans Board, Institute of Human Resource Management, European Union, Kenya National Examinations Council and Media School Africa. We thank the top management of the University of Nairobi for considering open day as one of the important function of the University.
