PUBLIC SERVICE JOB EVALUATION EXERCISE BY SALARIES AND REMUNERATION COMMISSION AND PRICE WATER HOUSE COOPERS.
Salaries & Remuneration Commission kicks off meeting with Top Management of the University of Nairobi this day Monday February 13, 2017. This is part of constitutional Mandate of SRC to carry out public service job evaluation. The University of Nairobi happens to be the oldest and largest in the category of Research Institutions, Public Universities & Tertiary Institutions.
The process, which is being Co-ordinated by the office of the Registrar Administration, will be in two phases - starting with staff training for 2 days and 28 days for visits and interviews with staff in various Colleges, SWA and Central Administration.
Price Water House Coopers, a firm which has been appointed by SRC, will lead the consultants in this process at the University. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Peter Mbithi, has appointed Senior Administrative staff led by College Principals to work together with Price Water House Coopers consultants.
